The Peabody Education Foundation is seeking nominations for the new George Peabody Legacy Award. They are searching for candidates who have made a lasting impact on Peabody’s Education system.

"Nightmare on Main Street" will be held on October 29th. There will be a costume contest, parade at the Leather City Common, games at Veterans Memorial Park, and of course CANDY! Trick or treating will take place all down Main Street. The events will be from 5-7pm.

Peabody Access Telecommunications (PAT) announces it is the recipient of four regional awards and one national award for outstanding programming featured during 2013 as recognized by the Alliance for Community Media (ACM).

Mayor Ted Bettencourt will be hosting a city-wide clean up on Saturday, October 25, 2014. Volunteers meet at city hall at 9 am, and lunch will be served at 11:30 at Leather City Common.
